Can CERECA guarantee recovery?
No. No investigation can guarantee that lost cryptocurrency will be returned. A case may have a traceable transaction trail without a viable recovery route.
What is the difference between tracing and recovery?
Tracing examines transaction activity and possible destinations. Recovery means assets are actually returned. The second may require cooperation from a custodian or lawful action by an authorised party.
Can you reverse a blockchain transaction or seize funds?
CERECA cannot reverse confirmed blockchain transactions or issue seizure orders. We are an independent service, not a law-enforcement agency.
What should I include in my first enquiry?
Your name, email address, enquiry type and a short description of the incident. Do not include wallet credentials, access codes, identity documents or sensitive financial records.
Will you ask for my seed phrase or private key?
Our public enquiry process does not require seed phrases, private keys, wallet passwords or one-time codes. Do not submit these through the website or in response to an unexpected message.
How are fees agreed?
Any proposed scope, deliverables, fees, payment stages, additional costs and relevant cancellation terms are provided separately before an engagement. This website does not publish a fixed-price recovery promise.
How long does an investigation take?
Timing depends on the evidence, networks involved and agreed scope. Any estimated timetable should be discussed before work starts. We do not promise a standard recovery deadline.
Should I report the incident to the authorities?
You can report suspected fraud directly to the relevant authorities without hiring CERECA. In the United States, official reporting routes include the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center and the FTC. Links are available in our Insights guide.
